About the Michigan Internet Professionals Association

Welcome to the Michigan Internet Professional Association. A network for people doing internet related work in Michigan to help each other, learn together, and work together. MIPA is a relatively new group, formed June 16, 2005. MIPA was formed based on a similar idea in another state. The group was formed so that area professionals have an easy resource to network and ask their peers for help. Joining the group is free, and easy. If you have or can create a Yahoo account, you can click this link http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MIPA_NET/ and sign up.

Once a member, you can post messages to the group on the MIPA yahoo site and you can request to receive posts by email, a daily email, or to check them on your own. Posts can range from anything relating to internet related projects, from the latest news articles, help with a website, SEO, flash, coding, server issues, job postings, resume postings, networking events, website reviews, etc. Please do not post any kind of advertisement for your company or projects. If you wish to advertise your company or site, you can contact us to discuss possible sponsorship options.

The Michigan Internet Professionals Association has over 100 members, and has proven to be very helpful. Our members range from students, teachers and professors, designers, programmers, developers, CEO's, graphic designers, and other organization members such as GLIMA and Women in Computing. We hope that MIPA continues to grow and provide help to all it's members. If you have any ideas that would help the group to grow, please email your thoughts to info@MIPA-NET.com Thanks!
